nicely put together. very nice. the game pockets are easy to use and numerous.
While it is true that this is probably one of the best available, it is not superior. Durability: 3 stars. Well, it was until the ds pockets actually start to fill up. But for those who are not so inclined, the gpak is a good choice, but could be so much better.
The insert that holds the games is secured with velcro to the inside of the lid on both models. For my own personal use, I have designed my own bag. We bought this one to replace my son's original gpak. It holds 32 ds games loosely instead of 30 snugly (4 in each row instead of 5-which fixes the problem of the 12 too snug pockets), has no gameboy pockets but does include two stylus slots.
We bought 2 of these paks and both had the same problem within the same time frame. There is a newer model that has changed the game pockets to cover only half the game instead of the entire game which makes it easier to remove but does nothing to secure. Overall, I'd give 3.5 stars, but the rating system only allows whole numbers.It's a great idea: a single, cushioned, portable space where one can store a ds, charger, car charger, a second ds or gameboy sp, velcro spacers, an outside pocket for small odds and ends, 8.5" x 6.5" in size, a durable handle with a detachable shoulder strap, holds 30 ds games and even 6 gameboy games.Sounds great, huh. My kids are still using them but I have had to take needle in hand to repair them.
It is important to note that my kids (12 and 10) are not very hard on their stuff-certainly not as hard as their friends and other kids I've seen. The pockets close to each edge of the case are too snug to fit any games (deduct a total of 12 pockets) and began to unravel and fall apart after only a month. Also, some of the plastic tags on the zippers broke off after a few months.
My daughter loves it. This is the only bag that holds all your games, there are more slots to put your games than you'll ever need.
MUST GET. this is very cute and roommie. it holds a lot of ds games and a enough room for two ds and their cords.
This has helped prevent many fights in our house about who owns what game. This is a great product. Each of my girls can carry their own DS and games.
